Is there a way to search for a profile by its number?

Question

I am looking for a particular profile and would like to search for it by the profile number, which I know.  Is there a simple way to do that?

Go to your profile and replace your Id Clark-43686 with the one you want to find. Press return

I am not able to make this work. I can't replace my "Harms-1055" with another profile number.  I have tried to delete my number and I have tried typing over it. Neither works.  Any suggestions?

I just tried it, and I got you.

When you go to another page to do it, click in the address field, then press your right-arrow key to get you to the end of what's already there.  Then carefully backspace over the bit you don't want, and type in Harms-1055, enter.

If I understand correctly I am making a change to the url? I would take "/Harms-Family-tree-1055" and substitute Haywood in place of Harms and 41 instead of 1055?  I did this and found you. Is this the only way?

Right.  To find me, you would go to:
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Haywood-41

then to find you (for example), you would change my Wiki-ID to your Wiki-ID, and go to:
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Harms-1055

This of course only works if you already know the Wiki-ID - and if you do, it's the quickest way to do it.  I don't know of any other way.
