Are photos only a suitable way to source?

I was checking through my generational  suggestion report when I came across a number of totally empty biographies. . However they were not unsourced.. All the sources were photos of documents. Is this a suitable way to source? My thinking is that the link to the photo could easily be broken. Should a citation be added to the bio as well or is this sufficient?  I dont intend to find them again but might correct in the future if needed.

Photos of documents can be a good method of sourcing. It depends on what information is on the document to judge if it is a good source or not. The information in the photo ( document ) should be transcribed to the notes.

I would include a citation in the biography if for no other reason than so the bio isn't empty. Add something like "see attached images" to draw ones attention to the images section
