I do not see where I am missing something. Do these error suggestions disappear from my suggestions once they are corrected like in the Data Doctors Challenge?

Hi,

Yes, you should put that tag

<references />

exactly as written at the bottom of the profile, and then all the references associated with the little numbers in square brackets (the information you placed between any <ref> </ref> tags) will show up in a nicely formatted way below the profile.

For example:

===Biography===

blah blah blah <ref>source</ref>

===Sources===

<references />

This will show up as:

===Biography===

blah blah blah [1]

===Sources===

1. source

Your example is correct but to make the statement more precise, the <references /> tag should be the next line after the == Sources ==  line. Other more general sources may follow that.
Actually, the headings are incorrectly surrounded with three equals signs instead of two.  It should go:

==Biography==
blah blah blah<ref>yoursource</ref>

==Sources==
<references/>

which will show up as:

==Biography==
blah blah blah [1]

==Sources==
1.  yoursource

Thank you so much, as soon as I saw your response and checked the profile I knew immediately what was missing. That's why we're all here, for another set of eyes when we're stumped.yes
