Accessing Profiles Managed by WikiTree Admin [closed]

Does anyone manage the watchlists for WikiTree-managed profiles? An example of such a profile is https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Example-34.

Specifically, I want to know to know if trusted-list requests are processed in the normal way; or if I would need to send an email to management to request access to a locked profile.

Thanks for your answers, Robynne and Eowyn!!

I presumed that the referenced profile would be quite busy, and possibly backlogged, after checking its watchlist (14,000+). I had a couple of recent requests that I deleted because they hadn't been processed after more than a month and I didn't know if the UPM process was appropriate for an admin-managed profile.

Also, I have previously sent TL requests that resulted in the profiles' being deleted - despite my having noted that I had documentation for the individuals. Most of the profiles to which I may be requesting access are from old GEDCOMs that I have been working; I would rather we keep the original profiles than have to create new ones.

I generally lock any lockable profiles, so privacy is not an issue (in my opinion, of course!). I mainly like to keep the original family unit intact, as well as the original Changes log.

They are done in the same way as any other request,

BUT the volunteer leaders who manage them are VERY BUSY so you will have to be PATIENT!!!!

Remember that right now is alo the SUMMER holidays in the USA and northern hemisphere and SOME PEOPLE may be away from home on vacation!!

I usually try and wait for 1 week before sending a second request to join the trusted list.

Sending an email to info at wikitree circumvents the established procedure and should only be used for REAL problems - not a standard trusted list request.

You can do a trusted list request for those.  We get 'em.  :)
