Could she have been married previously to Robert H Brown on April 16, 1861 and had a daughter named Emma Jane Brown?

I believe this is my great great grandmother, mother of Emma Jame Brown born April 13, 1873 in Mt. Carmel, Kane, UT and died July 4, 1927 Price, Carbon, Utah, married to William James Green on Dec. 2, 1891. They were the parents of Edward La Var Green, born Jan. 27, 1896.

It is possible, but Emma's death certificate shows that her parents' names were Robert H. Brown and Elizabeth Tuttle, both born in England.

Yes, she was married twice.

I have adopted the profile and corrected the name fields. I have also proposed a merge with the profile you created for her.

She was actually married three times but the first marriage was annulled.
Thank you. I am new to this and I appreciate the help.
I would be interested in the name of the person she married and then annulled the marriage. I would like to add any stories known to may family records.
I've added him to her profile. His name was Welcome Chapman.
Do you have any dates for the marriage or when it was annulled?
Hi, Penny,

I included the marriage date when I attached the spouse (15 Apr 1861). Unfortunately, I do not currently have an exact annulment date, but I'm assuming it occurred not long after the marriage and she married Brown by Apr 1861 so I've guesstimated at some time in 1860.
