Newfoundland featured profile: Ann McLean Crocker, a victim of the 1918 Spanish Flu epidemic

The Newfoundland featured profile this week is of Ann McLean Crocker, who died tragically---a young mother fallen victim to the Spanish Flu. It's clear, looking at her death certificate, that the communities around Trout River were hit hard by the flu. Even more sadly, her husband died a few years later, leaving their 11 year old son as head of the household.

Any improvements to the profile of Ann McClean (or linked profiles and pages, you'd like to make) would be welcome, of course! And if you know of a profile of an interesting or famous or notable Newfoundlander; or you've worked on a Newfoundlander's profile you're proud of, or you've just seen a great profile or page that you think needs recognition---send me a link, and I'll maybe put it up for a featured profile!
