I would like to know anything at all about William Beatty Steele

Question

William Beatty Steele was born on 1 Aug 1870 in Victoria BC and died on 18 Mar 1953 in Vanderhoof BC. On the 1921 census it states that his father was born in Scotland and his mother was born in Ireland.  On his death certificate it lists his heritage as Irish. On the death certificate it states that he was a widower so he must have been married at one time. Before his death he was associated with a native lady Agatha Alexander 1904-1960  He is a real mystery. He was a gold prospector in the BC mountains. Anything at all would be helpful such as his parents names or his spousal information. Thank you very much
