State of Tennessee vs. Henry Johnson, 1872

From the Crockett co. TN Clerk Minutes, Vol. A (Dec 1871-Jan 1873): Mr. Johnson was "charged with getting a bastard child on the body of Susan Hodge" and found guilty as charged. F.P. Hall was his security.

Not my branch, but I'm sure there's some descendants out there wondering who the father was!

OMGosh. I added a great uncle of mine named Henry Johnson just last night.  LOL  What a co-inkydink as my father would jest.

And no, my Henry was in Western Pa.

I had to check my Henry Johnson, but he is from the Maryland/DC areas.
