I ask before about my relative John Marquet,born in 1803 in Ontario Canada,His trade was a cooper in mountain Ontario,He religion was meth ep;I ask who his father and mother,Answer I got was this john had a son james Marquette born 1773 in England.Their is two johns born 1750 and the other 1756 in England could be another john.

Can you give us the link to his profile please? If someone found the baptism for James for you then there should be a location which could help to narrow down the correct John. Where did you get the information that he was Methodist Episcopal? I don’t know so much about that as on this side of the Atlantic the main groupings within Methodism were Wesleyan and Primitive, but I am thought the Methodist Episcopal movement started in the mid 1880s. If so, then you may need to take another look at his religious affiliation. You also seem to be mixing up two Johns. Is the first one that you mention, born in 1803 actually the son of James rather than the father? Seeing how you have fitted the profiles together would help us to understand.

Marquet John, age 68, Birth Ontario, Origin French (= Québec ?) 
Mary his wife, age 58, Birth Ontario, Origin French (= Québec) ?) 
Children: Edward 20 , Joseph 18, Lucinda 10
