In my extended family I have a Jemima Faucet or Fawcett, of Nevis in the West Indies, married firstly to William Iles in 1730 and then to Richard Gurley in 1740. (I descend from Richard's brother Peter.)
None of the published accounts of the Hamilton family list Jemima among the siblings of Rachel Fawcett, mother of Alexander Hamilton (Hamilton-32), but the circumstantial evidence that Jemima and Rachel are half-sisters seems quite strong. The evidence is on Jemima's profile.
Would anyone object to me linking Faucet-5 as a daughter to Faucette-48, marked as uncertain parentage?
