Where do I find Apprenticeship/Indenture Records in Massachusetts 1750-1800?

I have been searching for my 4th great grandfather's birth, parents, ancestry for over 40 years, but he did apprentice to his future father-in-law when sometime after his birth in 1761 in Boston and before his service in the Rev War in 1776 from Lanesborough, Massachusetts.

He was also a Mason.

Would either Masonic records (if I can locate them) or Apprenticeship/Indenture records perhaps show where he was born or any other family members?  Where would these be kept for a given town, such as Lanesborough?

Might be helpful if you included his name/spouse's name/father-in-laws name etc.

Just a suggestion.  Good luck

William Lampson, spouse=Rachel Powell and Father-in-law = Miles Powell, but trying to determine of Apprenticeship records (or Indenture), if not at the local level (I checked personally in Lanesborough and Berkshire County records), could be at the Massachusetts Archives?
