Shackelford reference links

I hope this is the correct place to put this information and if there is a better place some one would be kind enough to help me set it up correctly.

I'm starting to collect reference links for the family Shackelford/Shackleford and there are some on-line and free so here are the ones I've recently found.

Shackelford, Robert Baylor, 1881-. The Shackelford Family, Its English And American Origins: And Some of Its Branches. Charlottesville, Va.: Jarman's Incorporated, Printers, 1940.

and Links to the Shackelford Newsletter Published from May 1945 though April 1957 :

Thank you for posting this source. The book is available at a few different locations. Here is some more information:

Rick how do you add references to the page you referenced??  My daughter is researching the Chipman family and found this one: which could possibly help those searching Chipman/Chapman lines.

To add a direct link to the page in the book you need to reference, add this additional information:

[ Page 10]

That is a link to Page 10 in the book. The link is from the link shown in your web browser while looking at the page. This can be added in the == Sources == section or as an inline citation.

There are three Chipman books by Alberto Lee Chipman (b.1878):

All three can be found by using the WikiTree surname search. They can also be found in the alphabetized list of family genealogies here: Sources-Family_Genealogies.

Posting here is fine. You may also want to create a Free Space to collect all of these in one place with perhaps a mini-review of the material.

You might like to start up a Shackelford Name Study rather than posting your resources on G2G.

Take a look at the One Name Studies Project page here:

I might join a one name study on the Shackelford line but I don't want to lead one.  There is way too much confusion for me to handle already which is why I posted some reference links of people who were trying to do proper research.
