I don't know how to get WikiTree to put my mother's full name in heading, it is only showing her middle(perferred name).

Question

This is for Cobern Family Tree. My mother's full name is Anna Jean Morguson (maiden name) Cobern. When I went to fill out her profile I filled all information out but at the top of her profile page it lists it as Jean (Morguson) Cobern, not including her first name Anna.

I am very new at using Wiki Tree any assistance is very much appreciated.

Maybe try first name Anna, preferred name Anna, middle name Jean, nickname Jean

It will not show the first name while you select her second as the Preferred name. Go back to the edit page and de-select her second as Preferred name. That will fix it.

will not show the full name on the public profile view. At the current privacy level, if you change the preferred name to Anna, it will still show only "Anna (Morguson) Cobern" at the very top, and "Anna J. Cobern formerly Morguson" at the beginning of the data section. It will never display her full name.

If you put both given names in the Preferred Name field and leave the Middle Name field blank, you should get the display that you want.

For profiles of close family members, at least, you should feel free to present their data to your/their liking.

WikiTree guidelines are flexible; strict adherence is not always necessary.
