Looking for parents of John Dickerson Tatum b: 1819 North Carolina

It is possible that his mother maiden name is Dickerson. Only possible source is Armchair Ancestry suggesting  that Dickersons married into Tatum family in Granville County North Carolina.

Hello!  Have you gotten any more leads on John Dickerson Tatum?  I, too, have been looking for his parents for decades, and also think it's likely that his mother's maiden name was Dickerson.
