How do I put someone in a location Category when the stayed but the location moved?

I have family from Ohio dating back to the early 1800's.  Most of the lived in Fairfield County.  I want to add them properly but the county borders have changed.  Liberty, Ohio is near Dayton and was in Fairfield in 1835.  Now it is in Trumbull.  How do I choose a category?

I will bet that this will pertain to those along the US Canadian border also.  The are some towns that have the line right through people's homes.  The may have been US citizens at birth but died Canadian and staying in the same home the whole time.

Good question.

Probably you will want to use two categories.

There is a second problem as Liberty Township exists in several counties, a name with the county is required.  It is also a township so the name is a little longer.
The two categores are now set up - it would be nice to add a note showing the history with some dates.  That could be added to both category pages.

I wasn't sure if using 2 different categories was a good idea or not.  I'll use them until I hear different.
