July, 1653. Thomas Way , william parnall, and william England bought of Capt. Sommarset 1000 hakkers  in Sabbobonago -  York County.  Is he related to Geoge Way who was granted land in Maine  in 1632?

From Savage's Gen. Dict. THOMAS, Isle of Shoals 1649, in few yrs. aft. was liv. in some part of Essex Co.

Savage says of George : GEORGE, said to be a partak. with Thomas Purchase, in the early settlem. of the country near the junct. of the Androscoggin with the Kennebeck, bef. 1630.  He was a contribut. in Eng.

I see an ancestry tree listing him as a son of Way-204

Ah! beware of trees that list people of the 1500s and 1600s with middle names ie. Thomas Henry Way and his father Henry George Way and grandfather Henry Alexander Way.
