Would it be feasible to stop WikiTree from automatically creating a marriage when a child's parents are entered?

I've been attempting to create profiles for unmarried persons and their children.  When the other parent gets attached to the child, WikiTree automatically creates a marriage between the parents.  I realize that the vast majority of parents are married, but as time goes on more and more people had children without the benefits of marriage.  If the couple had multiple children, I have to go in and remove the marriage several times.  It now occurs to me that I can wait until I am finished with the family and then just remove the marriage once.

But what I was thinking is that don't most people add the husband, add the spouse, then add the children?  Shouldn't the marriage not be automatically created unless a mother is added as a spouse?  Am I a nitpicker?

I also find that if you add the mother as the mother of the child and add the father as the father of the child - the marriage does not automatically form because you DONT use the spouse link (connection)!!

I feel like because the vast majority of children were born to married couples, removing the automated process would be a nightmare to deal with the majority of the time.  In my opinion it should stay the same as it currently is.

Also, there is already a checkbox at the bottom when you create a parent/child relationship that basically says "uncheck this if the other parent is NOT this parent's spouse."  From the wording of your question it seems you weren't aware that it was there.
