What information are you looking for? His baptism is on Scotlandspeople. Father William Shand, Mother Isabelle B. You can access the index for free and view the record image if you buy credits.

I have that and his brother and sisters. I'm looking for info on when and how he got to Montreal and then to Noyan, Quebec.

Thank you Jill. That 1860 census is very helpful.

I have Joseph Shand's bapt record. 1790 Mill of Rathen, two marriage certs in Montreal. 1826 to Ann Yule and 1830 to Janet Gray/Grey. Nothing in between. I then have there children. I've looked at all Joseph Shand's born during that time period. 3-4 of them. All died in Scotland except one born 1790 in Rathen. Trying to find and information on him between 1790 and 1826.

Last night I did find a connection with the Kilgour family through Joseph Shand 's's1790 father William Shand 1750 Methlick. He had a brother named Joseph Shand 1764 who had a son James Shand who married a Kigour. It was a distant cousin DNA Match. That was the first DNA match connecting that Joseph 1790 to me. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
