Are you familiar with the {{Delete Category}} template?

Question

The {{Delete Category}} template is a handy way to remove a category with a mistake, one that is mistakenly added, or one that is no longer needed. It can be used by anyone, but please use caution.

We now ask that if you are deleting, renaming or merging categories, please leave a note under the line to explain the reason. It helps Categorization Project members understand why this is occuring.The note needs only to  be a simple thing. If you are doing a number of these at once, you need only add the note to one of the bunch. 

Examples:
1. {{Delete Category}}

Project is doing away with this set of categories.

2. {{Delete Category}}

I misspelled a word.

3. {{Rename Category|New Category Name}}

I used the wrong character.

4. {{Merge Category|New Category Name}}

There are two similar categories I am combining.

A couple of years ago when I first started setting up cemetery free space pages, I named the Memory Gardens Cemetery incorrectly.  The leader on the cemeterist project set up a new free space page for me and had the original one link to the new one.  All that is on the original page is that link.  I would like to delete the original one altogether (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Tallahassee_Memory_Gardens).  

Could you do that for me?  I am a bit leery of trying it myself for fear I might inadvertently delete the good one or make a mess.  Thanks!

Wait, that's a space page, not a category.

I suggest also signing it with four tildes (~~~~), so it's not necessary to go to History to see who set up the change.

Can someone explain the four tildes?

When you use the four tildes on a WikiTree page, it datestamps the page with time and WikiID.
