Emigration to Canada

Sometime in the early 1960s Royston & Barbara Osborne (nee Robinson} and their children Paul and Lorraine emigrated to Canada. The last contact put them in the Missisuaga area of Ontario. This would have been around1980. Contact has been completely lost. I wonder if any of our Canadian members might have an idea where they might be.

Where can I post this request for help if not on here?
Have you tried looking for on social media for them? They might have a facebook page, twitter and instagram accounts, and whatever other social media outlets are available.
Yes, I have tried searching Fcebook with no success. I did not think of Twitter. I will give that a go. I can only search the male side, because I would not knoe any married names of female family members.
Another site worth checking is LinkedIn.
There is a phone # listing on Ancestry but it is from the 1990's.
I did try a phone number that was given me, but it was not the right one. Do you have acces the the number you mentioned?

Death notice Raymond Osborne 2018

This is very interesting. I wonder if there is some way of contacting the funeral home to try to contact the family.
I have just realized there is a internet address on the message, so will give that a try.
I have contacted and received a reply from the funeral home. They have passed my details to the relatives. I hope I do not have to hold my breath too long for a reply.
Good luck. Hope it is helpful.
I believe Royston is in England/UK/Europe or has passed away (although haven't seen anything pointing that way) but we will see what you hear from the family of Raymond first.

Paul Osborn has a pretty active sports related Twitter and YouTube thing going if I am not mistaken. Again, this all depends on whether I was on the correct trail or not to begin with.
It is Paul Osborne with an E.
I have just sotted a big hole in this possible lead to Raymond Osborne. The article mentions a sister Pearl. I know for a fact that did not have a sister. I could be a sister in law though. Although I know hie sister in law's name was Barbara.

Hi, Look up the phone pages for Canada...or the Funeral home.  I am guessing they will take your number if they have someone to pass it on to.

This is what happened with my cousin when my Aunty passed away.  My mum no longer had a contact number as that was her sister who passed away.

My cousin was born in Ontario Toronto Canada....she is a Robinson. This is how I got in contact with her.... she did know about me though and visa versa.

Good luck

RE: Blasdell-50; Isaac Blasdell b. circa 1780 in Rockingham, New Hampshire and migrated to Upper Canada about/before 1796. He may have married his wife, Rebecca Misener circa 1796 probably in New Hampshire or possibly in Upper Canada. About 1800 he owned land in both Lynden and Beverly.

In 1832 he walked to Toronto and brought back a supply of Testaments and other material for organizing a Sunday School.

He may have died c 1855 most likely in Beverly.

The profile manager and I have researched:

What we still don't know is who his parents are and why he went to Canada.

Any help would be appreciated!

If this is a totally different question from the one you asked originally, you should start a new thread, that way you may get some answers. I just found this post confusing, until I realised you are asking a different brickwall question.
My apologies, this was meant for another thread.
