Project Protection for James Dunne O'Molloy?

+2 votes
Hi, I'm wondering if the profile for [O'Molloy-1 | James Dunne O'Molloy] could get project protection in the Irish Roots project? He was the Prince of Fircall, ancestral home to Clan O'Molloy, descendants of King Niall through Fiacha. He exiled himself to America abt 1770 and settled in Virginia where he fought in the American Revolution. I just finished up his bio - my 6th GGrandfather. There's more to come on his descendants and hoping to get some help with  source material and info on his ancestors. Thanks - Tim

I'm fairly certain that profiles only get project protection if they are repeatedly subject to being attached to unproven parents or merged with profiles that have a misspelled LNAB. I could be mistaken, though.

Very nice profile, by the way. smiley

Thank you Deb! I wasn't clear on that. I thought that significant individuals were sometimes protected as well, but not at all certain.
Clears that up. Thanks!
