I know Roach(es) are sometimes hard to find and multiply fast!

I have been searching for my gr gr gr grandfather Dominick Roach/Roache who married Bridget Mulloy in Killedan, County Mayo, Ireland in Feb of 1835. They were farmers.  I found some documentation in the Petty Sessions Register and learned Thomas Fair was their landlord.

I have no verified dates other than the marriage for either Dominick or Bridget.

He is listed on Griffith's Valuation near Bohola, and I know he stayed in Ireland.  With the help of the North Mayo heritage center I was able to find my great grandfather James, b 1842, his sisters Bridget Roach Higgins, b. 1844 (they came to the USA in 1862 and went to Wisconsin)  and Mary Roach Kilgallen, b 1841 (resided in Swineford) and Michael Roach, b 1840 ?  who lived in Castlebar with his wife Honor Murphy.

Can anyone help?

Thanks, I suppose the birth in County Cork is a possibility.  I shall check it out.  The other dates do not work for the Canadian soldier or the marriage to Esther Doyle.

I appreciate the answers!
Appears the information about Dominick being  born in County Cork at Castletowneroche might work.

Thank you Betty Fox!
