Chelsea pensioners and 14th Light Dragoons

I need help with categorization ...

I wanted to add some categories to Francis Sharpe (Sharpe-2567). He served under Wellington in the Peninsular War in the 14th Light Dragoons, and settled in Canada after claiming land as one of the Chelsea Pensioners.

However, there's no category for the 14th Light Dragoons, nor for the Chelsea Pensioners. Should there be?

I also tried with Peninsular War, and found three categories;
- Peninsular War
- United Kingdom,_Peninsular_War
- British Army,_Peninsular_War
but these categories had very few profiles; the one that seemed the most appropriate (British Army,_Peninsular_War) only had two profiles.

I would appreciate guidance as to the appropriate categories (if any) for Sharpe.

I have several profiles for people who fought in the Peninsular War but I have never used any of these categories. I thought categorising them in the Battles they fought in would be the thing to do. Is that wrong? If one fought at Fuentes de Onoro for instance then adding Peninsular War would be superfluous. Similarly lot of Battle of Trafalgar profiles but haven't added war of the Third Coalition.

Hi there Ken

There is an existing unit category under the name of 14th King Hussars which was a latter name for the unit you have mentioned. This category has the Peninsular War conflicts that the unit was involved in.

However, I don't know about the Chelsea Pensioners sorry
