G2G: How is it that a PPP is an orphan file?

I adopted Adams-48, and a few other profiles along my ancestor line that are BOTH maternal and paternal. My mom and dad are 11th cousins...LOL

After adopting the profile, I realized it was PPP.

How it is that an orphaned file is PPP?

Answer to your "How is it" question: The profile was project-protected before the current system of project accounts and "management by project" was created. It was well-endowed with Trusted List member, but it looks like the people who used to be profile managers either resigned that status or have left WikiTree.

I added the Massachusetts project as a profile manager.
