Henry DRY might be Heinrich DROEGE?

You might want to check the immigration data under  www.emslanders.com where there is a listing for Johan Bernard DROEGE whose Americanized name is also listed as "John B. DRY".  http://emslanders.com/dr.htm#DROEGE

DROEGE is hard to pronounce from the German; it might sound like DRY.  Heinrich in German is either Heinz (or Hank or Henk as nicknames) or Henry (in English) .

Hi Anonymous!

I don't believe that Henry Dry, the father od William Dry, could be the same as Heinrich Drouge since Henry's parents were born in Hampshire, England.

Please let me know if you any further comments,
