Just looking for any random information about my great grandfather

I do know that he was a mechanic in Omaha. I also know when and where he was born. I don't know anything at all about his parents. Any kind of information would be cool.
WikiTree profile: Vito Marchesi

Paul, Here is a link to a passenger list for a ship, with some information -- but I can't read all of the handwriting:

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-95CC-V15?i=550&cc=1916009

It says he immigrated in 1906 at age 17. It looks like Vito is traveling with another Marchesi (probably a brother) named Antonino Marchese, age 24 (may be transcribed incorrectly).  Both are supposedly going to see an uncle, whose name I also am having trouble reading -- Going to see Uncle Bivono(?)Guiseppe (??Leouverlin LA)??

My interpretation is probably very garbled, since I can't read the handwriting, and am not familiar with place names in Louisiana (if that's what it is saying)... but maybe you can make sense of it.

Reba
Thank you very much for taking the time to look

Here's some info. You do want to provide some real sources for him so here is some:

"BillionGraves Index," database, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VT7L-XR1 : 24 June 2015), Vito Marchesi, died 1943; citing BillionGraves (http://www.billiongraves.com : 2012), Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Omaha, Douglas, Nebraska, United States.

"United States World War I Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:29JV-3QX : 13 March 2018), Vito Marchesi, 1917-1918; citing Omaha City no 1, Omaha City no 2, Nebraska, United States, NARA microfilm publication M1509 (Washington D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.); FHL microfilm 1,711,758.

"United States Census, 1920," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-GRXD-7BK?cc=1488411&wc=QZJ5-YXF%3A1036473301%2C1036471902%2C1037781901%2C1589332317 : 14 December 2015), Nebraska > Douglas > Omaha Ward 7 > ED 74 > image 28 of 32; citing NARA microfilm publication T625 (Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.).

I don't have any details on his life but you can glean info from these records.

Doug and Reba provided some good potential sources/info for your ancestor that you may be able to add to the profile. If you are fairly confident about the death date and don't already have a copy of the death certificate, I'd suggest attempting to get a copy from here: NE State Death Certificate Request.

I have been to his grave. I've met some of my grandfather's siblings. I just don't have much information about my great grandfather. From before he arrived in Omaha.
