Hi Rebecca, Do you have a question that you need help with?

Hi Rebecca! I'm looking for information about an Arnold from New Jersey, too. My grandmother's first husband was Robert Arthur Arnold, born 4 May 1920 in New Brunswick, Middlesex County, New Jersey. It looks like he and his mother, Virginia Sarah Lawson, left the rest of the family, the father and the older siblings, in New Jersey and moved to Oakland, California, where they met my grandmother. Robert Arnold went to work in the WWII shipyards in Richmond CA, and later died in the Oroville CA dam explosion. We have no information about his father, except for an Ancestry hint about John Joseph Arnold, born 19 Feb 1887, Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia. Please let me know if you run across anything that looks like it might be a family tree match with another New Jersey Arnold. Thank you!

Faye,  You should really post this as a separate question on G2G.  There are a lot of good clues in there, and I'm sure you would get a lot of help!
