Who were the parents of Sarah (Boykins) Nasworthy? [closed]

Question

Sarah (Boykins) Nasworthy was born 1 August 1875 (based on her Find A Grave) and died on 21 July 1963.

She married Wiley Nasworthy on 21 December 1893 in Irvin, Georgia.

I'd like to find out who her parents are as well as confirming any other information about her. I've looked through familysearch and heritagequest. I considered looking through Georgia city directories, but I wouldn't know where to start.

nah.. The source there is derivative and doesn't verify a legitimate spelling of surnames or information. I cringe at using Census information to verify parentage although it can be used for information leading up to a source

It may not be perfect, but it's a good lead. I would love to be able to without-a-doubt tie her to her parents, though.

I was unable to find a specific source to verify the information.. If she was born in Georgia you maybe able to get a-hold of the Birth Certificate by contacting the Georgia Department of Vital Records

Maybe Irwin County has one:

"The History of Vital Records

The [Georgia] state vital records office maintains birth and death records filed from 1919 to the present. Marriage applications and licenses from 1952-1996 are also on file. No divorce records are on file at the state office, however, an index of divorce events from 1952 to the present is available. Some counties may have older birth, death, marriage, or divorce records in their files, but county files only contain records of vital events that occurred in that county."

The Sarah Boykin above died in 1938, so I think that's unlikely to be her.

Sadly, they didn't start filing birth certificates until 1919. I looked into it anyway, and it said I needed to know the exact city she was born in, which, unfortunately, I don't.

Jourdi, please note that the FindaGrave entry has no sources.  The 1938 Sarah Nasworthy death certificate gives a birth date of 1 July 1875, maiden name Boykin (with allowance for handwriting), and the informant was Wiley Nasworthy.  In 1940, widowed Wiley Nasworthy lived with his daughter Beulah Young's family:

FindaGrave gives Sarah and Wiley a daughter named Beulah, but I couldn't find her elsewhere in a quick search.  FaG must be wrong about either Sarah's death date, or Beulah's parentage.  They can't both be correct.  I suspect the FindaGrave memorial has the death date for a different Sarah Nasworthy, maybe a daughter or daughter-in-law.
