Background of Elisha Swinford

Most entries I have seen on Elisha Swinford (abt. 1760 - 1813) (Swinford-60) show he was born "in England". However father James (Swinford-61) and grandfather John (Swinford-62) were born (and died)  in America.  It seems all the chldren were born in a different location (John 1760 in England (poss twin??), Josias 1761 in MD, Joshua 1762 in KY, Lidia in Maryland in 1766).

Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this and has any light to shed on it.

I did not find any information for an Elisha Swinford (abt. 1760 - 1813) at FamilySearch.org. You need to clean up the profile after a merge by removing the second biography and sources section.

What happens after a merge?

After the merge is completed you'll be redirected to the edit page for the merged profile.

You will need to consolidate the text section so that there is a single Biography headline and a single Sources headline with a single <references /> tag beneath it. All duplicate content in the text should be removed.

Mike, I think you may need to take a closer look at the whole family and evaluate whether they belong together or not. I see that some of the family members only have MyHeritage smart matches as sources.
