Please keep your Honor Code badge on display

Many projects check that you are eligible by looking at your profile and asking themselves "has he/she signed the Honor Code yet?"

But many members bury the badge away from their profile page, so the Project has to go looking, and the badge can be missed in a long list.

Would it be an idea to make it mandatory to display the Honor Code badge? (like you have to display the WT Genealogist one) Even if that idea won't fly - this is a plea for you to display it.  Please?

I like the idea of it being made sticky. Sometimes I think the Honor Code should have to be renewed periodically.

Hi Ros,

If they have the Wiki Genealogist badge, then they have signed the Honor Code. That's the only way to get the Wiki Genealogist badge.  If they don't have the Wiki Genealogist badge, they haven't signed the Honor Code.

Thanks, Eowyn! Now, why didn't I think of that?blush

Ros, I had to look myself to see if I had that badge displayed, I do, but since I have many more than the number of badges that can be displayed, I have 80 at this point, I would have to edit that list every month to make sure that the important ones are on the profile page. At the rate I am going if I continue to earn the monthly badge the one for the Honor Code will vanish in 8 months and I may not remember to edit the list at that time.

So, if it was made a 'sticky' i.e. always there whatever else you did (like the ones for Guest, or Family Member, or Wiki Genealogist), it wouldn't slip slowly out of your page.
Thats the solution! Make it stick, like Ros says. Truly, both of them should.
