How can i find information on Edward Mulligan Birth 1920 Mayo Ireland. [closed]

Question

Edward Mulligan was born 18 January 1920 in Mayo Ireland. I believe his parents were Martin Mulligan and Kate Cahill.  I have found nothing online about his Birth, I have searched Ancestry, Findmypast and the Irish GRO used to no avail.  My father said his certificate was destroyed in a great fire in Dublin which destroyed the records office.  Does anyone have any advice on where to look now?

Your dad right abt fire,also Ireland Govt,Dstroyed many paper records during a paper shortage.If he was Catholic most Church records survived.

But need Diocese he was born in and exact birth or Baptism date.

According to his death registration his Date of birth was 18 Jan 1920 and as his siblings were born in Swinford, the relevant Diocese would be Achonry

The marriage may appear as both parties have now passed away, I'm assuming that St Mary of the Angels is in London
