just asking because i only see one son listed for Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Umawi and onneca fortunez when they had 2+ sons at least plus none of Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Umawi's ancestors are listed even though you can find his parents names with little effort on the internet. since i don't have pre1500 certification .

Finding names on the internet would not be sufficient to add parents. There would have to be further checks to find the sources for the internet information. Perhaps no one has had the time or the interest to research them further. If you have appropiate sources you could post them on here so that someone with pre-1500 certification can add them. You could also consider working towards your pre-1500 certification so that you can work on these profiles.
I also see that the linked profile and several generations of descendants are unsourced so it would be better to start working this line from more recent well sourced profiles.

what would you consider an appropriate source? i'm not sure if i can meet pre1500 standards since i'm not good with writing bios and am awkward with sourcing at times. here's one page where I attempted to make it have enough sources cited(i often forget to put sources and when i do, it's usually only 1 or 2 sources even though there's usually more on the said individuals. my profile on lorenzo ulloa is an exception to this rule since i wanted to indicate how i figured out that he was my ancestor isabel ulloa's father as there was some confusion from others how i figured that out .) https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Ulloa-56

i do know that Abdallah Ibn Muhammed had at least one other son with onneca named Muhammed ibn Abd Allah. that particular son of his had a son named Abd-ar-Rahman III(whom Abdallah Ibn Muhammed chose to be his successor)

are the sources listed on his wikipedia page decent enough?

Hi Katy, I have found that the Wikipedia pages for medieval royal families from the Iberian peninsula are fairly good , though I do try to both check the Spanish Wikipedia pages and/or any sources they cite.

However I think the problem about adding more profiles comes down to a lack of time, and because many of the existing profiles oN Wikitree from the medieval period have many problems, I spend most of my time fixing those rather than adding new profiles.
oh ok john, also there appears to be a duplicate profile for onneca and her mom
