What was my Great Grandfathers Name?

My Grandfathers name was Robert Perry Hughes born 7 December 1883 Died 4 December 1947. He died and is buried in Greene County Ar. Not sure where he was born believe it was in Arkansas. He married Minnie Bell Shaver around 1900 they had the following children, Arthur, Clarence, Edith, Grace, Lou or Lew not sure of (SP), I believe there were 2 other children one died and I cannot at this time remember the other daughter's name. His Mothers name was Rutha Jane Hughes Unknown maiden name father's name on his Death certificate was listed as unknown. His mother married a man named Adams while he was still a child unknown year. She would have remarried after December 1883. Any info would be appreciated I have requested his birth certificate from the State of Ar. but no response at this time.

In 1940, Robert P Hughes and wife Minnie are in Buffalo, Craighead Co., Arkansas with dau Edith. This census indicates he was born in Arkansas.

In 1930, Robert P. Hughes and wife Minnie are in Davidson, Sharp Co., Arkansas with  children Clarence, Lou/Lew, Edith and Grace

In 1920, Robert Hughes and wife Minnie are in Campbell, Lawrence Co., Arkansas with children Lessie, Arthur, Clarence and Lew

I can't find any of them in 1910 census.

They weren't yet married at the 1900 census. Minnie is likely: Minnie Shaver, b Apr 1886 Arkansas, is still single, living with her parents -- John and Lue (!) Shaver -- and siblings in Gatewood, Ripley, Missouri. Notice that this is the same township as where Robert's mother was found in 1900 as well.

Robert is less easy to find in 1900, but might be the servant to the Stevens family, recorded b Jan 1884 in Warm Springs, Randolph, Arkansas (the location where his mother married Adams). Of interest is an Adams family several rows above.

These records from familysearch.org may indicate children of Rutha J -?siblings of Robert  - maybe you can trace them - to see if you can locate parents names.  One possibility is William.
