Phantom GEDcom record?

I have a GEDcom file that I have done a lot of work on and seems ready to merge, but I can't find the very last "suggested match". I have all completed rows showing, so it's not a suggested match hiding there. Has anyone else struck this problem? Is there anything I can do other than reload the GEDcom? Thanks!

At the top of the list of names in the GEDcompare, in the green ‘Add and Edit’ box, there is a link named ‘Refresh’. Try clicking that, it often fixes the problem.

Thanks for your reply. I have done that several times with this file. A few new "suggested matches" usually appear, but when I have carefully processed them all, I am told: "Compare: There are 1 suggested matches to consider."

It seems there must be an error on the file - or somewhere. I am not sure what to do next. Any ideas out there?
