Saloma Stoetzel's family came from Alsace-Lorraine, France in 1850.  Her father was John, mother, Barbara, older sister Barbara, oldest brother, John, another brother Henry, and a baby sister, Magdalena.  In the 1870 US Federal Census Sally Bornheimer (spouse) John Bornheimer, 2 children listed George H and William (as Bonheimer).  Sally's birthday was 26 Mar 1838.

Then when I veiw the 1880 Cnsus (10 years later) Sally and William are no longer a part of the family, and now John  is married to Caroline Stoetzel.  Sally and John had George, William, Daniel, and Clara, before she died.

When Clara died in Michigan on 17 Aug 1945, her death certificate has her mother down as Sally Stetgel. I also found some church records on Sally.   Come to find out that Caroline Stoetzel was a neice of Sally, she was a daughter of Sally's brother, Henry.  Quite an age difference (John born in 1833, Caroline born in 1857)  I am still searching for Sally's burial place and for answers as to what happened to William.
