Shared Photo: Helen Naomi Wells Fry as a young woman

Question

I wanted to share this family photo of Helen Naomi Wells Fry with the community. Helen was my 2nd great grandmother. Family lore says that she was part Native American but that has never been confirmed. Helen died at age 36 in 1867 giving birth to her 12th child. The child survived and lived to the age of 80.

Location: Richland County Wisconsin.    Date: 1862
