What does RI mean?

I think the 1774 Rhode Island census is being referred to.

The 1774 Rhode Island census exists in print form (you can find libraries that have it through WorldCat - there are a number of libraries in California that have it, for example). There is a searchable version at Ancestry.com. There are possibly other sites that have it as well.
