Enhancement to add person number to Pending Merges left hand person

+2 votes

I was working with a MERGE and had this suggestion for the displayed information in the Matches and Merges area.

In the Pending Merges you show the two people that are suggested to merge.
Example is this:

Pending Merges Help

It would be nice if the left name would show the full last name as in Richards-11062

Now there is ambiguity if you are looking at the line out of wikitree such as in an email.

This may apply in the Unmerged and Rejected Matches too. I don't have an exampe to test this.

I don't think that the Pending Merges, Unmerged Matches, and Rejected Matches listed at the bottom of a profile are showing the name of the person on whose profile you see that section (clear as mud!).

In your example, Warren, the Myrtle May Richards named in the pending merge is Richards-9207 The entire comment refers to the duplicate profile only. If the names were slightly different, it would probably be more apparent.

If you hover over the name, you should see a small window (I don't recall the proper name of the function) that shows the same profile ID as is listed below the name. Both represent the duplicate profile.

At least that's what I see when I do this.

edit: added some text for clarity

I see that now. So I guess my suggestion could be changed to showing all of the persons being merged in that section. It seems it would be easier/faster to interpret the actions being suggested.
