Could we have an image that we can attach to our line if we have a proven Mayflower Lineage?

I'm not sure it would improve trust. Full citations in credible sources are the best way to do that. Someone could change some or add disreputable sources along the line. Now, a sticker that indicates membership might be useful to use. See the info at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:Mayflower_Descendants

I think that sticker needs to be amended.

It currently says - XYZ is a descendent of Mayflower Passenger.

That should say - XYZ is a descendent of A Mayflower Passenger.

Robynne, if the template is fully used, it will specify the name of the Mayflower passenger from whom the individual is descended. You can see an example here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Lucas-6758 - the sticker for him reads, "Alden Lucas was a descendant of Mayflower Passenger Samuel Fuller".

The Mayflower ancestor ID id the WikiTree ID of your ancestor. Then fill in the name.

Oh so that is how it is SUPPOSED to work.

So lets just say that the wording such as you describe - does NOT work for a living person whose profile is currently UNLISTED!!

Ok finally got it figured out. I have to add the Mayflower passanger NAME and ID.

OK now its working for the unlisted person and his father who died in 2003.

A note: The sticker is designed for living active members of Wikitree only. It adds the interest group category to your profile. It does not belong on Lucas-6758, he's dead. It does not belong on my husband's profile he is not a registered member of Wikitree (although he is a descendant and living but not a member of Wikitree.)

In what way do you feel that an image would create trust in the data and sources on the profile? Anyone can add an image with or without appropriate research and sourcing.

Well, I would add my GA Mayflower D assigned number and date it was awarded
