Any MOONS from Perthshire in Scotland ?

My MOON family came to Australia from from Blaire Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland. At the moment I'm back to George MOON b 1688.  He married Janet Macglashen,{ spelt many ways} and this couples 2 X great Grandson, Henry MOON born at Longforgan, Perthshire married Janet Kid CRICHTON  16th Nov 1834. In 1839 they and what children they had at this time sailed for Australia, and arrived in January 1840 settling in Tumut, NSW..

My question is are there any others researching this line of the MOON family ?  Henry's brother Alexander also came to Australia settling around Queanbeyan where he married and then moved on to Albury, NSW.

Try searching the catalogue of the National Records of Scotland at catalogue.nrscotland.gov.uk and use the search engine for Moon dates from : 1700   dates to; 1840 clear Undated record option. This will show that there were several Moon families in the Atholl area eg Thomas Moon miller at Pitcurr,Moulin, John Moon in Clunes of Glengarry, and a court case between Charles Macglashen v George Moon, a tack set by James Robertson of Lude to Thomas Moon in Bridgend of Tilt.
