Question

Thank you for placing my branch onto your Montgomery tree. You have done an amazing job with this. It is amazing to see how many descendants Eva and Hugh had. Also, I was always told that George Montgomery's wife Elizabeth Jackson was 1st cousins with Andrew Jackson. Through some research I found that Hugh may have come from Carrickfurgus Ireland. Andrew Jackson's family is also form Carrickfurgus and immigrated to the US about the same time. Do you have any information on the matter?

Thanks so much for your compliment. I try very hard to get as much info as I can on my ancestors. So sorry I didn't see your post until today. I definitely appreciate it.  I haven't found a link between Elizabeth Jackson and Andrew Jackson, but will try looking into that.
