My mother was adopted. She was born May 24, 1945 in Jackson, Michigan’s the Florence Creighton Home for unwed mothers. Her birth moths last name is Barthowlemew and her birth fathers last name is Toms. Both her birth parents have passed away in 1988. We were able to find both birth families in 1999. My mother did meet up with her 4 siblings on the Bartholomew side. The Toms side still had the married mother still living who did not know about her husbands first child born out of wedlock so siblings asked not to continue with the contact until after their mothers death. Since then the mother has passed on. We were interested in now having contact only through the family tree if at all possible. My mother has also passed on 7 years ago. We are simply looking for the link to that side going backwards unless anyone is interested in present day information. Hope to hear from anyone that is from that side of the family tree.
