Why, yes it does...

go to the "My WikiTree" menu, and select "GEDCOMs", then click on the "Download a GEDCOM" tab. Follow the instructions.

Thanks Dennis, I had a look at the generated GED and its so different from the one I exported from MyHertiage many years ago!

I used to use Ancestry but a cousin has sent me a link to her tree on Ancestry. I would like to re-subscribe to Ancestry for a month or so to view her tree and update my tree with the Wikitree (thats my master tree).

Is this possible; e.g. importing to Ancestry from the Wikitree generated GED?

yes, its possible.

but the results may be unexpected. -- of course, you can always delete and re-inport/export as many times as you like, while tweaking various settings each time.

gedcom files are supposed to be temporary transfer files, used only to transfer basic info from one genealogy program to another. But each program imports or exports differently. They don't all support all the various fields available. And even for the fields they do support, the resulting display may be different between them.

I'm not sure about importing to Ancestry in order to update an existing tree, though. That may not be possible. I would think it would create a new tree. And I don't know about merging/combining info between trees.
Thanks again, sorry I did not see the GEDCOMs item in the Top Menu, just do little in the summer-time!

I assume its best to update my Ancestry tree manually when I re-subscribe to bring it inline with the Wikitree?

I gather it will be time consuming messing about with Import/Exports from different platoforms!
