Is there a way to link to another part of the biography of the same profile / free space? [closed]

I am making a list of notable relatives in part so I can find new things to focus on, as many notable people are still unconnected to the tree despite having profiles for years.

I sort my notable relatives into categories based on what they were notable for, and many of them fit into more than one category (such as a governor that later became president).

It would be helpful if there was a way to format the text to make a hyperlink between places where the same name shows up more than once, for instances where a person is notable for being multiple things.

I know you can create references, and then have all those references show up at the bottom of the page (or wherever you put the <references /> tag), but that wouldn't really help me at all in this situation.

Is there a way to use the <references /> tag multiple times on one page, and specify exactly where you want each unique reference to go?

If so I'd be very grateful to learn how.  If not I'll keep on doing what I'm doing, no bad feelings on my end.

Edit: upon posting this question, I was linked to another related question about the exact same topic, and it answered my question.  I should be using the <span id="x"> tag, followed by the [#x | [example text]] tag where I want it to link to.

I am closing my question but leave it posted in case anyone else has the same question later on.
