Question

...to unlock Rachel Story Saunders profile? The profile manager has not been around in four years. Her LNAB is listed as unknown but I know it and want to correct it. I contacted the profile manager back in February and have heard nothing. She was born about 1782 so meets the more than 150 years since death. Thanks!

If I was successful, the profile is open to any geneaperson who wants to edit or update it.

Thanks, Don! However, you are the profile manager and therefore are the only one that can change her last name at birth (LNAB). If this is something you don't want to do, would it be too much trouble for you to add me to the trusted list? Then I can add her LNAB and connect her to her family, and yours! Thank you, Nancy

I'd like to add you as a Profile Manager, but it says I need your email address. I think they should change this so I can just use your member number or a link to your profile. If that were possible, I'd open my tree up to a lot of good people who are working diligently on this. I enjoy doing it, but tends to be in spits and spurts.

I sent a note to the profile manager. He was active in April of this year.

Nancy, you could file an open profile request, since the profile meets criteria for that.  This would not make you manager, so you wouldn't be able to change the LNAB, but it is much faster and easier to file than an unresponsive manager request and it would enable you to edit the profile.
