You will need to be more specific if you want some help.
Father robert harlab Goss mothwr Suzanne Beavers, fraternal grandparents robeet Alico Goss and Corrine Baldwin, fraternal great grandparwgra John Luther Goss and Rebecca Jane Jewell and John Arch Baldwin Sr and Annie Sue Conley. Hope this helps . First time using site
Welcome Rebecca. The best approach is to start building your branches of the tree and ask for help when you get stuck on an individual. Check before adding each person whether they have an existing profile as we want to avoid duplicates. If you need any help to get going you can contact the Greeter who welcomed you on your profile or ask here in the forum. Have fun adding to our collaborative tree.
How and why must i add sources in order to afd people to tree

We add sources as evidence of our findings. Without them anybody could add fictitious people or bad data to real people and mess up the tree. Here is a link to one of the help pages about sources.

Rebecca I too am an amature on this site but I'm used to working with source information of all types. There is another G2G post on your Goss family asking for source information help and I posted three source citations that may help you build your trail on Betsey Goss. Look at how I typed in the source citations for each of the three pieces of evidence (which may or may not be relevant to the Betsey Goss profile you're going to build in Wikitree).

I hope this helps.

Try the free search tool at https://www.familysearch.org/search/hr/search/ - you have to register on their site, but it is free    https://www.familysearch.org/register/custom/1

Put as much as you know in the search field - and you might come up with records such as birth/marriage/death/census etc for your ancestors.  In the date fields, it's often best to start with a 'range' rather than an exact date ie. born june, 1886 - use 1885-1887 or wider.  Census records are often useful in finding siblings, parents, etc.

Here is an example of a marriage record for you ancestors:

Source:"Virginia Marriages, 1785-1940," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XR37-35X : 11 February 2018), John Luther Goss and Rebecca Jewell, 27 Dec 1915; citing Co., Va, Tazewell, Virginia, reference P237 L315; FHL microfilm 34,214.
Virginia Marriages, 1785-1940
: Name     John Luther Goss
: Age      29 Birth Date     1886
: Marriage  Date     27 Dec 1915 Co., Va, Tazewell, Virginia
: Spouse  Rebecca Jewell
: Age 19  Birth Date     1896
Fathers     Albert Jewell  Mother     Jane Jewell

More records of John L. Goss are here: https://www.familysearch.org/search/record/results?count=20&query=%2Bgivenname%3A%22john%20luther%22~%20%2Bsurname%3Agoss~%20%2Bbirth_place%3Ava~%20%2Bbirth_year%3A1885-1887~%20%2Bspouse_givenname%3Arebecca~%20%2Bspouse_surname%3Ajewell~

Chris I hate to say this but the detail you are providing might be overwhelming to your amature Wikitree'ers. Highly stylized editing is a discipline in of itself. If you could boil your source citation needs down to the exact facts you're looking for when they cite sources; then. present that bare minimum style to your amature folks who desire to get it right, but are a bit overwhelmed by it all, I think you'll find much greater and more accurate compliance from your amatures, like me :)
Nothing fancy about this, when you use Family Search they provide this formatted citation you can just copy and paste.  Requires no special skill, it’s a great feature.
There are copy right rules, so to provide the census, I used the citation as familysearch.org provides it.
