How to embed, reference, and cite an free space image in profile

I have created a Free Space Profile, Space:Maps of Places the Jenkins Family Lived. In that profile is an image of a source entitled "Mississippi Map in 1860" with a url of https://www.wikitree.com/photo/jpg/Maps_of_Places_the_Jenkins_Family_Lived-1.

I want to do 3 things with this in Jenkins-11480: (1) put the image in the text, (2) create a foot note and (3) create a source.

Does this take multiple steps?

If I want to use another image from Space:Maps of Places the Jenkins Family Lived do I create an additional source citation?

Ginger, here's how:

To put the image in the text, put the following wherever you want the image to appear:

{{Image
|file=Maps_of_Places_the_Jenkins_Family_Lived-1.jpg
|align=c
|size=600
|caption=Places the Jenkins Family Lived
}}

You can leave out the line with the caption if you don't want a caption on the picture or you can change the caption to whatever you want.  You can also use l (that's a lower case L for left) or r (for right) instead of the c (for center) I used for align.  You can also make the picture bigger or smaller by changing the 600 I used for size.

If you want the map to appear in the Sources section then put <ref> before the {{Image and put </ref> after the image.  You may also want to put some text about it after the <ref> and before the {{image.

That will automatically put a footnote number at the position where you put the <ref> .... </ref>.

To use another map, just put another Image template (that's what things enclosed in double braces are) using the name of whichever file you want wherever you want to display the other map.

You can also put the standard reference tags attached to the caption since I think you are trying tp embed the image somewhere in the biography.

{{Image
|file=Maps_of_Places_the_Jenkins_Family_Lived-1.jpg
|align=c
|size=600
|caption=Places the Jenkins Family Lived. <ref>Mississippi Map in 1860.</ref>
}}

You can also control whether text wraps around the picture with |wrap=(y or n)

{{Image
|file=Maps_of_Places_the_Jenkins_Family_Lived-1.jpg
|align=c
|size=600
|wrap=y
|caption=Places the Jenkins Family Lived. <ref>Mississippi Map in 1860.</ref>
}}

Just take this formatting and play with it until it looks like what you want.
