Request new feature: Bulk entry name page for large families

I have an idea as I'm typing in many large families with lots of Siblings (up to 14 kids!) as part of my earliest generations. As a site Improvement could we have 1 page to type all names and birth / death dates for one family and enter it, allowing me or someone to come back and fill in each person details separately?

Hi Craig,

It's a good idea, and we actually worked on this a bit some time ago.

It's more complicated on WikiTree than you would expect. (More complicated than I would expect before we dug into it!)

One of the initial problems is the handling of matches. As you know, when you create a new person the system searches the database to see if the person might already exist. If you create 13 people at once, how do you review 13 sets of possible matches?

Hi Chris,
We have chatted a couple of years ago (great work!!), and I'm back on inputting new family members as my father's generations goes back to first white settlers in Australia.
In the case of '13 sets of possible matches'. I would firstly assume these are NEW people, but wikitree (somehow?) generates a report showing each new profile with a "possible match FLAG", where user clicks to goes into more pages, where you hi-light the reason(s) for the match, and then you have 3 click choices: (1) Add new profile, (2) Merge with existing profile OR (3) Delete the profile...
