Eowyn Langholf is a Wonderful WikiTreer

I recently had to create a new email account as I shifted from an old Internet provider to a new one.  When I tried to get on Wikitree it only recognized my old email address.  Bu I also forgot my password.  When I asked to get a new password, Wikitree sent an email to my old email address which no longer existed.
Since I didn't know the system, I tried to set up a new account with my new email address to get in and change my profile and merge the accounts.  Didn’t work.  It may have been that since my old account was private, my new account did not allow me to get on the old account as I was not on the Trusted List of the old account.
In my original active account as Sundermann-10, I had added a lot of family information and didn’t want to lose this data.  I then sent an email to info@wikitree.com asking how I could change my email address in my old profile without knowing my old password.
Eowyn Langholf was kind enough to investigate and found I now had two accounts.  She merged the accounts and corrected the email address and allowed me to set up a new password.
There doesn’t seem to be the ability to recover or change a password if the old email address doesn’t exist anymore other than to contact a Wikitree senior member.  Thank you very much Eowyn.

She's the best!  Check out her new namesake!  I named my harp after Eowyn. Good celtic name, that.  https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/665207/welcome-the-weekend-chat-all-members-are-invited-august-2018?show=665360#a665360

Like Kitty said, Eowyn is the best. What would we do without her!
