Hi Tanya,

The first thing you should do is change your privacy level - I can see that you have your DNA badge but no details about your test. I think you need to set your privacy to at least private with public family tree, or public bio and family tree if you want people to be able to see text you add on your profile page as well. After you change your privacy, your test details will copy out to all of your family members who are likely to share a fair bit of DNA with you (I can’t remember who far back it populates) and hopefully attract a cousin who’s also tested and would like to confirm relationships with you.

To work with the DNA data you have - the https://genesis.gedmatch.com/ website is supposed to be able to upload files from National Geographic tests (it’s one of the companies you can select). Putting your data file in there allows you to see a list of people who tested with all different places, sorted by how closely they’re probably related, and also directly compare tests with someone.

Actually I just noticed that you tagged the question with mitochondrial DNA -  you can add MTDNA as a separate test in Wikitree and put your mitochondrial haplogroup in the text box, then that will copy all the way up your maternal line, and then down the lines again to anyone who should have the same haplogroup.
thanks!

It is National GENOgraphic.  They have had different DNA tests over the years.

Their most current test is incompatible with other labs and you can't see matching chromosome segments with other relatives who tested with the Genographic Project.
